In May of 2008 we made the decision to consolidate our inventory to the Gobles location. This allowed us to free up working capital that we used to expand the services that directly affected our customer. We hired two more employees and kept our office open 7 days a week. We extended our weekly hours of operations from 46 to 62. We reallocated money from the advertising budget to expand our service department. This year alone we put up four new display homes and remodeled a fifth.
Over the last three decades, slow, responsible growth made it possible for us to pay off all outstanding loans and remain debt free today. Every dollar that our customers trust us with is accounted for. Each check written by the owners themselves.
Roy’s Home Center beat the national average for new home sales by nearly 20% this year and received the top builder award from Crest Homes with over two million in retail sales.
